Will treat it as my ‘poor client’: Ram Jethmalani on Delhi Govt.’s impending fee

New Delhi, Apr 04 (ANI): After Delhi Governor Anil Baijal being questioned if the Delhi Government can foot the legal fee of senior advocate Ram Jethmalani, the latter on Tuesday lashed out and said that he would appear for free, considering it as ‘poor client.’ Jethmalani added that he collects his fees only from the rich clients and works free for the poor ones, who constitute 90 percent of them. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had employed a string of lawyers, including Jethmalani, in a defamation case filed against him by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Jethmalani had alone raised a bill of Rs. 1 Crore and 22 Lakhs.
