Kulbhushan Jadhav case: ICJ has no jurisdiction over country’s national security matters, claims Pakistan

Islamabad (Pakistan), May 18 (ANI): Pakistan’s Foreign office on Thursday said that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) had no jurisdiction over the country’s national security matters. The reaction came shortly after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Islamabad to stay the execution of alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav until the court reached a final decision on the matter. Zakaria said Pakistan’s reply to the court was submitted in line with Article 36 of the Vienna Convention, explaining that Pakistan does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICJ on some issues.
