Lori Deschene had once said “Dear Music, Thanks for always clearing my head, healing my heart and lifting my spirits”. Music expresses that feeling which can’t be put into words. Bob Marley had once said “Without music, our Life would have been a mistake”. June 21 is celebrated worldwide as World Music Day. Also known as Fête de la Musique, this day is celebrated across more than 120 countries.

On the occasion of International Music Day, various singers associated with Bengali Music Industry proved that Music to them is not only a profession but an emotion to cherish. Below is how 5 noted Bengali singers observed World Music Day.

Madhura Bhattacharya

Playback singer Madhura Bhattacharya expressed enormous contentment having released a melifluos Mashup Music Video where she has teamed up with her husband singer Sourav Mukherjee.
