Hyderabad (Telangana), June 19 (ANI): Member of Parliament (MP) from Telangana and leader of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), K. Kavitha, on Monday welcomed the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDAs) decision of declaring Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind as their presidential candidate. Lauding the move, Kavitha pinned hope that India would find a ‘wonderful’ president in Ramnath Kovind. The Telangana leader also asserted that Prime Minister Modi had requested Telangana Government to support the decision. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah today announced that Bihar Governor has been chosen as party’s President candidate. Kovind, who hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, is being credited for grooming various leaders of BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
