KT Rama Rao inaugurates urban water supply project

Hyderabad, Aug 17 (ANI): Telangana Minister for Urban Development KT Rama Rao laid the foundation stone of the urban water supply project in Quthbullapur constituency and promised clean drinking water in the coming future. Speaking at the event, Rao praised Chief Minister KCR and said that resolving water problem within two years in Quthbullapur is possible under his governance only. The confident Rao further said the supply drinking water will come daily unlike old days where water used to come once a week. Reportedly, the project will meet the drinking water needs of around 10 Lakh people in a total of 163 villages. The project is expected to be completed within a year and reportedly, 30 trillion gallons of water per day will be supplied to households all across the region. Meanwhile, the current supply of water is 7 million gallons a day. While addressing the people, he also urged the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board to provide clean drinking water for gated communities and middle class households.
