PM Modi along with CM Nitish conduct aerial survey of flood affected regions in Bihar

Purnia (Bihar), Aug 26 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey of the flood affected areas in Bihar on Saturday. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Modi also accompanied him during the survey. Following the survey PM Modi declared an immediate relief of Rs. 500 Crore for the flood hit areas of the state. He also chaired a review meeting in Purnia with senior officials to take note of the ongoing situation in the state. This year’s Bihar floods have been one of the worst in the recent times as it claimed over 300 lives.
