Special efforts will be made for forts, palaces and havelis of tourism significance: CM Raje

Jaipur (Rajasthan), August 18 (ANI): Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, a review meeting on Tourism, Devasthan Departments and Heritage Conservation Authority was organised recently. In the meeting CM said a special policy will be made for protecting the small forts, palaces and havelis turning into dilapidated and shabby structures which are of tourism importance. To save the fateful heritage detailed plan of action will be made. She also suggested to create special committee for the maintenance and sanitation of cities and small towns with famous temples. She instructed that through every District Collectors list of properties with photograph and necessary information should be prepared which can be of tourist significance but are on the verge of being destroyed. She added that through online bidding tourism department can invite investors to come forward to save these properties from destruction.
