AP Government conducts seminar to improve quality of education

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 25 (ANI): A seminar on “System Strengthening for Quality Education and Skills” was jointly conducted by the Andhra Pradesh HRD ministry and Kovida Ltd. at state secretariat. The main objective of the seminar was to improve the quality of education from basic to higher level. The seminar also emphasised on imparting skills to prepare youth for the opportunities and challenges in 21st century. The organisers suggested enhancement of capacity building of personnel, delivery capacity, improving statutory regulations, ensuring coordination, cooperation and team building and increasing analytical capacity to improve system efficiency and delivery. The organisers opined that since National Education Policy 2016 is under evolution, it is important to energise the draft through practical field implementation strategies. The seminar was attended by senior officials of HRD ministry and other concerned departments.
