Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 14 (ANI): The Hindi translation of Hindu holy book, ‘The Ramayana’, drew litterateurs, students and mythological fans alike at a book fair in Varanasi. Organised by the National Book Trust, the book fair aims to promote books written in Sanskrit language. Scores of visitors thronged the book stall set up by Raza Library, where the Hindu epic was translated, to get their hands on the holy book. Ramayana is a Hindu epic written by Valmki in Sanskrit that tells the story of the conquests of Lord Rama. One of the largest epics in the world, Ramayana is divided into seven books and consists of nearly 24,000 verses, with a total of 500 chapters.
