Andhra Rural Development Minister pitches for clean Vijayawada

Vijayawada (AP), Oct 18 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Minister of Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Information Technology and Communications, Nara Lokesh, attended the Parliamentary Party coordination meeting held in Vijayawada on Wednesday. City MP, MLAs and other party leaders also attended the meeting. During the meeting, Lokesh directed the ministers to cooperate in keeping the city clean. “Vijayawada should be made a clean city. Government is ready to provide sufficient funds. Public representatives should cooperate in keeping the city clean”, he said. The minister added: “Vermi-compost units should be setup in city and villages in the range of Vijayawada constituency. All public representatives in the area should take up voluntary work at least once in a week”, Nara added. Later, the Minister assessed grievances of the people and assured to resolve their problems at the earliest.
