Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 12 (ANI): After the Supreme Court on Wednesday criminalized sex with a minor wife, National Secretary of Jamat Raza-E-Mustafa, Maulana Shahabuddin on Thursday said that according to Islam a girl turns adult after attaining the age of 13, and can get married at this age. Further challenging the SC’s ruling, Shahabuddin said that if such a girl is married to a man, if she agrees, the marriage is legal and they have the right to consummate.
