New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): Visually impaired artisans at the Blind School Diwali Fair in the national capital are having a busy week with their products selling like hot cakes as thousands throng the popular fair every day. The week-long fair is among the national capital’s most awaited annual events in the run up to Diwali. It offers shoppers a variety of Diwali essentials made by visually impaired people like handmade candles, earthen lamps and lanterns etc. The Blind School Diwali Fair was first organised 30 years ago and has been held every year ever since a week before Diwali. The visually impaired candle makers have been trained to help them lead an independent life, said executive secretary of Blind Relief Association, Kailash Chandra Pandey.
