New Delhi, Oct 13 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday refused to modify its earlier order on sale of firecrackers. The apex court had issued a notification on October 9 banning sale of firecracker in the Delhi-NCR till November 1. While hearing traders’ plea, who sought modification of the order banning, the SC said, “We will ascertain after Diwali if there has been a difference in pollution levels.” The traders had told the Supreme Court that the latest order would cause huge loss to them as they have already invested huge amount of money after their licences were revived.
