New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended the 25th India-ASEAN Strategic Partnerships in the national capital on Wednesday. Addressing the summit, Pradhan said, “India embarks on the policy of Look East for a long time. Our PM has given further inputs by initiating the policy of Act East. The upgrade from Look East to Act East policy with ASEAN at the core was among the earliest initiative by the Modi government. ASEAN is considered as our extended neighborhood and enhancing connectivity is crucial to deepen India’s economic and cultural ties with the countries. The Act East policy is significantly supported by North east becoming a bridge head for India to booming Asian market.” Historically & culturally the relations with India and South Asia has been deep and profound.
