Demand for traditional snacks surges in Kashmir Valley with onset of winter

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 14 (ANI): Shops selling traditional snacks in Kashmir, including dried vegetables and smoked fish, are doing brisk business as the valley received season’s first snowfall, causing the mercury to plummet. Shopkeepers had a busy day on Tuesday, frying and baking winter-special snacks. Customers jostled at shop counters to buy their favourites, ensuring food items flew off the counters almost as soon as they were taken out of the woks or off the pans.
