Kurukshetra (Haryana), Jan 17 (ANI): The decomposed body of one of the suspected accused in the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Haryana’s Jind district has been found in Kurukshetra’s Bhakra canal. Earlier it was reported the police had launched a hunt for a Class 12 student, who they suspect raped and murdered the girl. The brutalised body of the girl, who went missing on January 9, was found near a canal in Budhakhera village. The body was found without any clothes in the lower parts. The private parts of the girl were mutilated and her liver was ruptured. The deceased is identified as Gulshan, a suspect in the case. According to police the dead body is 4-5 days old. After investigations from the family of the deceased, the police have taken the body for post mortem. Further details are awaited.
