New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): On the auspicious occasions of Pongal and Uttarayan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished devotees on the festival. Through his tweets, he greeted the nation on this auspicious occasion. “Pongal greetings to everyone!” said Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Modi also extended Uttarayan wishes to the people. The Nation celebrates this festival with much fervour and enthusiasm. Pongal, one of the most popular harvest festivals, is celebrated in Tamil Nadu every year. It is a harvest festival and marks the auspicious beginning of the sun’s northward journey towards the equinox, known as Uttarayan.
