Supporters of RJD Chief offer feasts to him in Ranchi jail

Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jan 14 (ANI): Supporters of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav reached the Birsa Munda Jail to greet the leader on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti on Sunday. Supporters from across Bihar came to the jail to offer various feasts on the festival to the RJD leader. Feasts like Dahi-Chura, Madha, Til-kut are among the leader’s favorites, which his supporters wishfully offered. Lalu was lodged in Ranchi’s Birsa Munda Central Jail after a special CBI court sentenced him to 3.5 years of jail on January 6. He was sentenced in the case pertaining to embezzling of more than Rs 89 lakh from the Deoghar Treasury between 1991 and 1994.
