AAP protests outside Rajnath Singh’s residence over alleged attack on its leaders

New Delhi, Feb 22 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers staged protest outside Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s residence on Thursday. Party workers protested against attack on its leaders in Delhi Secretariat. The protests erupted over issue of alleged scuffle between Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs. On February 21, the Chief Secretary alleged that he was manhandled at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence by two lawmakers of the ruling AAP namely Ajay Dutt and Prakash Jarwal. The Chief Secretary said that he was attacked in the presence of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after being summoned for discussions on Aadhaar-related problems. AAP, on the other hand, blamed BJP for the attack. Heavy security was deployed outside Singh’s residence to control the enraged workers of AAP.
