Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 24 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to attend Aligarh Muslim University’s (AMU) convocation ceremony on March 7. The student Union Secretary of AMU Mohammad Fahad has written to university’s authority over the event, saying, “We don’t oppose the President but we do oppose the ‘sanghi’ mindset that is against humanity.” Speaking about the incident, AMU Student Union secretary said, “We are not opposing President, we oppose ‘sanghi’ mindset. In 2010 President said Muslims and Christians are alien to country, that bothers us till date but we welcome him. No other person with ‘sanghi’ mindset will be allowed to enter, those coming as per protocol can come.”
