Karachi (Pakistan), Feb 20: Members of civil society and political activists gathered outside the Karachi Press Club and raised slogans against the government demanding the release of all activists imprisoned in Gilgit Baltistan including Advocate Ehsan Ali, who was arrested on charges of a case registered against him on January 8 for sharing an allegedly controversial post on social media. The protest was organized by Gilgit-Baltistan Youth Alliance, as a part of a broader campaign for the release of Ali and other jailed political activists like Baba Jan.
