Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu), Feb 14 (ANI): A large number of devotees thronged Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple in Tamil Nadu’s Rameswaram to witness Silver Chariot procession of Lord Ramanathaswamy and Goddess Parvathavarthini. The Rishaba Vahana Dharshan is when the processional image is taken around on a bull palanquin on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. The Mahasivaratri Abishekam (ablutions) and the procession of the Silver Chariot are the highlights. On the occasion of Maha Shivratri, special prayers were offered to the goddess.
