AP CM lashes out at Centre, says “I went to Delhi seeking support, but in vain”

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Mar 20 (ANI): Telugu Desam Party coordination committee meeting was held on Tuesday. Party MLAs, MLCs, senior leaders attended the meeting while party leaders at district HQs also attended through Video Conference. While addressing the meeting, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said, “We allied with TDP thinking justice would be done to the state. We waited for four years patiently and gave BJP ample amount of time. But BJP didn’t use that time. Now we are moving very cautiously.” “For us, power is not important but state interests are paramount. Our aim is to achieve the rights of the people which we tried to attain in many ways. I went to Delhi seeking support, but in vain,” CM Naidu said. He also pointed out that the deficit revenue to be settled in first year was given in five years. Even now they are ready to give only 138 crores. “BJP is not only doing injustice to the state, but got ready to attack AP. Attacking on me means weakening the state. Thus they want to weaken the state. Had they shown some of that interest over state development; this situation would not have arisen,” AP CM said.
