CM Naidu corners Centre over delay in implementation of Reorganization Act 2014

Amaravati (AP), Mar 14 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu gave an elaborate speech and introduced a resolution in the assembly.As per the resolution, CM Naidu said that the assembly is expressing its objection and protest against the delay in implementation of issues in the state Reorganization Act 2014. The bifurcation was done in an unscientific manner causing huge loss to the state. CM Naidu said that as per Reorganization Act, the Central Government should provide financial aid for construction of capital city of Amaravati, railway zone and sea port should be provided to the state, steel factory and petro chemical industry should be set up. As per the act, number of assembly constituencies, academic and research institutes should also be increased, the CM added. The Centre is yet to release more than Rs 2,500 Crores spent by the state Government. The assembly condemned Central Government’s attitude towards providing AP Special Status.
