Recruitment policy in Railways is unbiased and transparent, says Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, Mar 20 (ANI): After the rail services were halted by the railway job aspirants, Minister of Railways, Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said that Indian Railways has made a recruitment policy that is unbiased and transparent. The move has come on the directives of the Supreme Court. He said, “Recruitment in Railways is underway at a large scale. On directives of Supreme Court, Indian Railways has made a recruitment policy that is unbiased, transparent and competitive.” He added, “The Railways have already reserved 20 per cent posts under Course Completed Act Apprentices.” Earlier in the day, Railway services in Mumbai were affected as ‘rail-roko’ agitation by railway job aspirants, continued between Matunga and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Stations.
