Srinagar (J and K), Mar 13 (ANI): To aware farmers about latest varieties of seeds and latest agriculture technologies, the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) of Kashmir organised special exhibition cum Seed Mela. The stalls showed new varieties of seeds including paddy, apple, plum, almond, maize and vegetables. Agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and sericulture are the back bone of the valley and lakhs of people are belonging to these sectors directly or indirectly. All the products in the event were available on subsidised rates which resulted people from all districts of the valley throng this Mela. During this Seed Mela more than two hundred stalls were installed by authorities.
