Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Apr 21 (ANI): Kashmir is witnessing a spurt in sales of flower saplings and seasonal plants this spring owing to great demand, sellers said on Saturday. Plant nurseries in the summer capital of Srinagar are doing brisk business with customers buying different flower varieties and indoor and outdoor plants for their gardens and homes. Spring is the season when the flowers are in full bloom. A customer, Ravi Sani, said he visits a nursery twice or thrice a week to buy plants. Saplings from across the country are finding their way to the valley to cater to the growing demand. Kashmir has seen the demand for flower and other saplings pick up over the past few years. Daffodils and tulips are among the most popular flower varieties.
