Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu), May 22 (ANI): Nine people were killed in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi after the Anti-Sterlite protest turned violent on Tuesday. Meanwhile, police force was deployed to prevent any untoward incident. Earlier, a scuffle broke out between the police and protestors over Sterlite Industries in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi on Tuesday, wherein protestors demanded a ban on Sterlite Industries as they are causing severe pollution in the environment.
