Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu), May 23 (ANI): A day after over 11 people died during protests against Sterlite Industries, Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) chief Vaiko on Wednesday visited the hospital and met people who were injured during a protest. He interacted with injured people and listened to their grievances. Section 144 has been imposed in Thoothukudi to avoid any untoward incidents. At least 11 persons were killed during protests demanding the closure of Sterlite Copper in Thoothukudi.
