Thoothukudi (TN), May 23 (ANI): A clash erupted between police and locals outside General Hospital in Tamil Nadu’s Thoothukudi on Wednesday. People who were injured during the Anti-Sterlite protest are undergoing treatment in the hospital. Section 144 has been imposed in Thoothukudi to avoid any untoward incidents. At least 11 persons were killed during protests demanding the closure of Sterlite Copper in Thoothukudi.
