Thoothukudi (Tamil Nadu), May 23 (ANI): After violent clashes broke out between police and protestor against the construction of Sterlite plants in Thoothukudi on Tuesday, Section 144 was imposed to avoid any further untoward incidents. Even after heavy police force was deployed in the region, protests and violence continued. A bus was set ablaze by protesters outside Thoothukudi General Hospital.
