Farmer’s welfare is our priority: CM K Chandrashekhar Rao

Hyderabad (Telangana), May 23 (ANI): The Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekhar Rao held a review meeting in Pragathi Bhavan on the Rythu Bandu Cheque distribution and Pattadar Pass Book distribution. He instructed the concerned officers, that, they should ensure distribution of Rythu Bandu cheque and Pattadar pass books to each and every eligible farmer by June 2, 2018. He said, “The government has information that due to technical reasons at some places some farmers did not get either pattadar pass books or cheques. Whatever might be the problems they should be overcome and by the time the new registration policy comes into effect on June 2, 2018 the distribution of pass books and cheque books shall be completed, come what may.” “There is no other priority program to the government than that of farmer’s welfare. That is the reason why our Government is allotting more funds to the agriculture sector. The farmers are extremely happy on receiving the investment support for their agriculture from the Government. They feel a slight of relief. It is not a simple and easy thing to rectify and update land records in record time and issue pass books and cheques subsequently. The farmers are doubly happy since there is clarity on the ownership of lands without spending a rupee towards it,” he added.
