Guwahati (Assam), May 27 (ANI): Shopkeepers who are mainly involved in the business of selling groceries have witnessed a huge dip in their sale in the month of Ramadan, the time when people who follow Islam fast for the whole day. Various products (both foreign and local) which were imported from places afar are now just being stocked, hoping that they witness a sale next season. One of the shopkeepers believes that the dip in sale is mainly because it’s the end of the month, when people do not really have enough cash in stock and wait for their next salary.
