Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), May 25 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Health Ministry issued advisory over Nipah Virus after eight dead bats were found in a school in Nahan district on Thursday. The news triggered panic in the state, after which officials collected samples for investigation. State Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar said, “CMOs and task force of the health dept are alert and prepared. Samples of bats that were found dead in Nahan have been sent for tests, report will be out soon”. Nipah virus has claimed at least 11 lives so far in Kerala.
