“If Pakistan wants peace, we expect them to take initiative”: General Bipin Rawat on ceasefire violation

Pahalgam (J and K), May 25 (ANI): The Chief of Army Staff, General Bipin Rawat on Thursday visited the Kashmir Valley to review the prevailing security situation in the hinterland. Commenting over the continuous ceasefire violation, Rawat on Friday said that they want peace at borders but Pakistan continuously violates ceasefire that causes loss of life and property and in such cases, they have to retaliate. He added that if Pakistan wants peace, they expect them to take initiative.
