Amritsar (Punjab), May 26 (ANI): With heat wave gripping over the northern states of the country, there is a significant hike in demand of traditional Lassi by the residents of Amritsar, to keep scorching heat at bay. The special traditional yogurt drink which has originated in Punjab is made by hand churner called madhani. Thick fresh cream and homemade butter is also added to the Lassi to make it frothy.
