Mumbai, May 29 (ANI): Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said that there should not be any political untouchability on the issue of former president Pranab Mukherjee’s to attend Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s programme. He said, “It is people’s rights whom they call in the event and who is accepting it. I believe that political untouchability is not good in a democracy. Those who blame it on others for doing so are communal themselves.” He added, “If former President Pranab Mukherjee joins, it is good. What is the problem if the former President visits RSS event. RSS is an organisation of the nation.” Earlier, the RSS invited Mukherjee to address their workers at headquarters in Nagpur on June 7. The former President has accepted the invitation.
