Agra (Uttar Pradesh), May 24 (ANI): There has been a perpetual dispute about the statues of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar in Agra. BJP MLA from Agra’s North Assembly Jagan Prasad Garg had written a letter to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath where he recommended that the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to be place instead of Dr BR Ambedkar. Mayor of Agra, Naveen Jain, during an exclusive conversation with ANI said,” The statues of Dr BR Ambedkar will not be removed. We should respect every great scholar. Everyone deserves equal respect and we should not do politics in their name.”
