North 24 Parganas (West Bengal), May 17 (ANI): After extremely chaotic and violence-ridden Panchayat elections in West Bengal on May 16, the counting of votes delayed at a counting centre in North 24 Parganas on Thursday. The results for the West Bengal Panchayat polls will be announced today. The state witnessed violence in a number of places during the panchayat polls on May 14, due to which re-polling was held on Wednesday in 568 Panchayat election booths spread across 19 districts of the state.
