Purulia (West Bengal), June 04 (ANI): 11 Bajrang Dal activists in Bengal were arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of BJP workers, which happened recently in the state. The accused were transferred to Murshidabad. According to one of the parents of the alleged accused, the Bajrang Dal members were summoned by the police in the station, where they were immediately put in handcuffs. Meanwhile, the police remained silent. Family members alleged that they have been implicated in false cases because they commented on the panchayat elections in Raghunathpur which TMC initially lost but won in recounting. They have been sent to Lalbagh and Jangipur jail in Murshidabad without informing family members. This all started last year with Ramnavmi procession which was led with sword. More than 500 Muslims attacked one of the arrested’s house to kill him. The parents have said that attackers are roaming freely while their children were fabricated and arrested. Recalling the days when they were at the receiving end of attacks, the parent of the arrested said that police have not yet taken any kind of action against the violence which took place against them.
