Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh), Jun 15 (ANI): Two minor girls from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur were beaten up by boys after they protested against molestation. One of the victims said, “There were two-three boys there who were abusing us. One of them beat us with a stick. They were misbehaving with us. My brothers came to save us and even they got injured after they were beaten up.” Her sister, another victim said, “We filed a report of the incident. No action was taken on our complaint. The lawyer asked us to take back the case and file another complaint. We were told to omit the case of misbehavior from the complaint and mentioning only the case of beating.” Chandra P. Shukla, Ghazipur Additional Superintendent of Police, said, “The case has been filed under Section 308 among others. Efforts by the Police are underway to arrest the accused.”
