Assamese students holds silent meet for lynched youths

New Delhi, June 12, (ANI): Recently, in a horrific incident, an angry mob lynched two youths from Assam’s Guwahati city to death in remote area of Karbi Anglong district suspecting them as child abductors. Such inhuman act has left the entire state of Assam in anguish and anger. Public outrage over the lynching has been poured out in the form of protests, demonstrations across the state demanding immediate justice. However, as concern youths of the state, the members of All Assamese Student Association, New Delhi ,held prayer meet in memory of the two youths identified as Abhijeet Nath and Nilutpal Das. Condemning the death, the student members demanded justice for the deceased and urged the government to take strict measures to punish the culprits as soon as possible.Held in the premises of Arts Faculty, North campus, Delhi University, large number of students and professionals gathered to pay tribute to their fallen brothers.
