Hyderabad, Jun 07 (ANI): State Government in Hyderabad has joined hands with a telecom company to spread awareness on noise pollution. The sharp increase in number of vehicles in the city has led to congestion causing traffic jams and rise in level of noise pollution with people becoming more impatient day by day. Additional Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Anil Kumar said action would be taken against people creating nuisance by causing noise pollution. Noise pollution is harmful sounds which could prove to be injurious to health. High noise levels can lead to hearing loss, hypertension, sleep disturbances and even coronary artery diseases.
