Kolkata (WB), Jun 13 (ANI): Kolkata’s Columbia Asia Hospital has ordered probe in wrong blood transfusion charge. Dr. Tirthankar Bagchi, Chief of Medical and Admin, Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd said, “The patient is better now but she is still under observation. A team has been formed by our head office in Bengaluru to find out whether she was infused with blood of a wrong group”. Earlier today, a man has alleged that his wife was transfused with wrong blood group in Kolkata’s Columbia Asia Hospital. He also accused medical staff of threatening to stop treatment if he doesn’t pay bills.
