New Delhi, Jun 15 (ANI): Speaking Delhi’s hazardous air quality, Union Minister for Environment, Harsh Vardhan said, “There was a dust storm from Rajasthan which resulted in deterioration of air quality and high levels of particulate matter (PM) 10.We issued an alert, convened a meeting of task force and gave advisory to state government. Situation should be normal in 1-2 days”. National capital, infamous for bad air quality once again turned to hazardous levels, leaving residents breathless since last few days. Real-time Air Quality Index (AQI) shows that Primary pollutant (PM) 10 reached a hazardous level of 948. The weather condition has left several children, elders and people with breathing disorders vulnerable.
