DMK leader MK Stalin detained during protest

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Jun 23 (ANI): Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) working president MK Stalin was detained while protesting against Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit. Total 192 DMK cadres were detained in Tiruchirappalli yesterday while they were holding black flag protest against Governor. Stalin said, “Central government is working as an agent of BJP. We have been opposing the Governor right from his appointment. Wherever he goes we hold black-flag protest and holding black flag protest is a democratic way of showing protest. It is highly condemnable that our workers yesterday have been arrested while protesting against the Governor. The protest is against Governor’s attack on federal structure and intervening in state.”
