Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), Jun 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public rally during his visit to Chhattisgarh on Thursday. During his address, PM Modi said, “Bastar was earlier known for bombs, pistols and violence. Today Bastar will be known because of the Jagdalpur airport.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Raipur, Chhattisgarh to inaugurate multiple projects in the state. The PM first inaugurated the Integrated Command and Control Centre in Naya Raipur Smart City and then visited the Bhilai Steel Plant. PM Modi will also distribute laptops, certificates, and cheques to beneficiaries under various schemes. This is PM’s second visit to Chhattisgarh in the last two months. The visit comes ahead of the assembly elections slated to be held in the state later this year.
