Elephant calf rescued from well in Odisha

Dhenkanal (Odisha), Jun 13 (ANI): An elephant calf was rescued after a four hour long massive rescue operation in Odisha’s Dhenkanal. The calf fell into an abandoned well in a forest near Mahulapunji village. Tension erupted among people after the rescue team suggested digging of the well to carve out a slope to help the elephant calf climb out of the structure. The calf went into the forest after rescue.
