Surat (Gujarat), Jun 10 (ANI): Students of Institute of Fashion Studies in Gujarat’s Surat showcased clothes themed on menstruation-related problems at their annual fashion show. The fashion show was a part of an award show, where students designed garments on several themes such as ‘Periods no shame’ and Education among others. A total of 51 designers showcased their designs in 12 sequences. The theme ‘Periods no shame’ was inspired by the movie ‘Padman’. Menstruation and any conversations related to it are considered a taboo in the rural parts of the country.
