Belonia (Tripura)/Assam, Jun 13(ANI): Heavy floods wreaked havoc in Northeast Indian states including Tripura and Assam. A child and lady lost their lives due to severe rainfall and floods in Tripura’s Belonia. As a result of continuous heavy rains in the past few days, parts of Tripura and Assam are struggling with water logging and floods. Tripura’s Sabroom and Belonia are badly affected by incessant showers. Thousands of people have been displaced as water has entered their houses. Electricity service in the region has also been affected.
